New Tapestry Paintings

The time has come for me to begin presenting my new Tapestry style paintings, and well, I’m feeling a bit squeamish. The first three paintings are basically what happen when I doodle. Meaning, I didn’t have a plan of attack or any true thought process before I began painting. Apparently these pieces are the result of my rather *whimsical* subconscious:

Nina’s first reaction was that these were cute. Oh dear, not exactly how one would describe a work of *fine art*, so back to the drawing board with a bit more thought and a slightly more serious attitude. The clock is ticking. The deadline just over a week away!

In all sincerity, I like these--they look like they'd make beautiful stained glass windows or beaded tapestry works.
