Black-Eyed Susan

Beautiful Black-Eyed Susans found in the Wildflower Meadow:

These plants are the grandchildren of the Black-Eyed Susans found in the meadow next to my father’s house. My step-mother and I spent an afternoon collecting seeds one year and they have been flourishing here ever since. These flowers are a nice reminder of a lovely summer afternoon spent with my family. We have similar fond family memories about collecting Grammy Joe’s yellow daisy seeds and Doug’s ox-eyed daisy seeds. The creation of our Wildflower Meadow is full of stories and adventures, and each year we create new memories to grow in the Living Painting.
