Clustered Bellflower

This grouping of Clustered Bellflowers is the result of one of my individual species plot experiments from year one in the Wildflower Meadow:

I planted about 20 sets of individual flower species (versus the mix) in an attempt to bring some special varieties and color organization to the Wildflower Meadow. Mother Nature did her thing, what I refer to as “Survival of the Fittest” and laughed at my foolish attempts at order! However, I am graced with these strong purple beauties that have continued to survive and battle against the Daisies and the Lupine for their sacred spot in the sun.
