Martha’s Party

Martha’s Exalted Beauty Medallion party was a smashing success! Our hostess with the mostest, the lovely and charming Martha, did such a terrific job! The party was so much fun, Lynn and I had a blast! There was a fabulous group of women that attended to partake in Martha’s exquisite hospitality. The food was absolutely phenomenal and I’m told Martha whips up one mean apple martini! It was wonderful to see many of the ladies from last month’s medallion event as well as the many new faces introduced to the Exalted Beauty Medallion scene. The response to the Medallions was fantastic and I am very excited about all of the new potential party hostesses that planned to book soon. Martha’s party went by in a blur as I was kept busy making length adjustments. There was quite a discussion through out the evening of convex versus concave chests, to show cleavage or not to show cleavage, the choices of bare skin versus fabric, resulting in how the medallions should lay on each person. It was fascinating to see what a difference having the pieces set at each individual’s preferred length made. Despite the slight bit of confusion it admittedly caused (in a crowd this size), I am very happy to know that the customized pieces will be worn more frequently as the art jewels are best seen on the perfect setting. It is these amazing, confident, beautiful women who truly bring the Exalted Beauty Medallions to life; its one thing to see the medallions in a box and quite another to see them worn on the right woman. As far as the sales trends of the evening; the Rounds conquered with a third of the total purchases made, and purple was by far the most popular color of the night. I heard lots of talk of spring but only two floral pieces were purchased, with most sales leaning toward the geometrics of Mindworks, Oracle, Daybreak and Prophecy. In the intervening time, I’ll be focusing on the Poppy painting series and presenting those pieces as they are completed.
