White Campion

The White Campion always brings a smile to my face as it reminds me of the summer when Caden was 3 years old, he spent hours tending a giant weed cluster that had sprung up next to the house. We attempted to get rid of the unsightly mess until we discovered how attached Caden was to it. That weed absolutely thrived under his attentions. Here’s a photo of Caden’s White Campion from 2007:

While we built a stone wall where this particular plant was located, new White Campion plants eventually appeared in the Wildflower Meadow and serve as a happy reminder of our tender hearted gardener.
